Going Dutch

Study marketing, international business, linguistics, or graphic design history in the Netherlands, June 18 – July 11, 2010. Map | Registration

Tennessee students: Enjoy a life-enriching experience in the Netherlands studying linguistics, marketing, international business, or graphic design history.

Respected faculty members from Tennessee colleges and universities teach during this 3-week program in Holland. Students fly together out of Nashville to live and study in clean, comfortable, European-style hostels in Amsterdam, Noordwijk, and Rotterdam. Courses are two hours daily Mondays through Thursdays, with Friday group excursions selected especially for our students.

Holland, also called the Netherlands, is a Northern European country of flatlands, canals, and open, friendly people. Holland enjoys a rich history of trade, agriculture, art, and design. Students will examine their discipline from a Dutch perspective, absorbing the culture during organized activities and personal sightseeing.

During evening and on weekend free time students may enjoy shopping, dining, biking to a windmill, taking a ferry to the countryside, or people watching from one of Amsterdam’s famous brown cafes.

First-hand experiences and unique research opportunities can be incorporated into coursework. International study is a great way to enhance your resume and broaden your horizons. Don’t miss this opportunity.
