found type alphabet

My typography students have been out scouring the city with their cameras in search of interesting letterforms. Each of them has created a flickr photo set of all the serif, script, sans, and other letter forms they found on gas station signs, logos, packaging, and other interesting places.

Amanda McCathern, Tina White, Ashley Meiers, Michael Doty, Sarah Davis, Deigha Anderson-Davis, Craig Newman, Kayla Clark, Cordelia Norris, Angela Lowry, Ray Bishop, Megan Singleton, Franny Priestly, Amanda Dunaway, Kate Neal.

hey, just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog. The card thing… well… I don’t really think I did very well. I did it in a couple hours, and I wish I could have spent more time on it. Our teachers told us the weekend before submissions were due, and we had a big project that weekend as well, so I wasn’t able to spend very much time on it. Oh well.
You’ve got a nice place here, though :D .
