Today in Typography we talked about Gutenberg’s types, which were in the blackletter style. Here are some contemporary fonts in the blackletter style from Veer. Look for the 45 degree tilt and heavy, vertical stresses to identify this style. According to Wikipedia, blackletter and old English are not the same. Brush up on the details here.
