Students are beginning to think about design internships for spring, so I thought I would list employers who are actively looking. If you know of others, please contact me. Students work for 90 hours under a designer, typically in a design studio, ad agency, or marketing department. I’ll update these listings as I hear about more internships.
The Wilson Group is looking for an intern starting in December with print knowledge. Web knowledge also a plus. Projects include newspaper and magazine ads, brochures, displays and other collateral. Anyone interested should be well-versed in the usual Adobe spread: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Some knowledge of Dreamweaver and/or GoLive would be helpful.
