Teela Fleeman just gave me a heads up about National Portfolio Day in Nashville on Sunday, November 4 at Watkins College of Art and Design from 1–5 pm.
A free bus will take students to Nashville for the day, where they will tour Watkins, have their portfolios reviewed, and have a chance to see the school we send most of our graduates to who want a bachelor’s degree.
To reserve your spot on the bus, just email admissions@watkins.edu, giving them your name and cell phone number. They will notify you with more details. Bring your portfolio, including fine art, sketches, and graphic design.
UPDATE I received a call today from Watkins Academy of Art and Design. It seems they did not get enough reservations to justify a bus, and they have canceled it.
