My Intro to Mac students have turned in their second project related to Sharpshooter, our Common Book. The assignment here was to design a 3-color t-shirt using art and typography appropriated from Civil War sheet music. The results ranged from the didactic to the satirical. Franny Priestly’s design is shown here includes some of the ornate type, ribbons and ornamentation popular in the last half of the 19th century.
