These projects are designed for students who have had 2D design, typography, and an introductory computer course. They require some onscreen demonstrations in InDesign. I recommend creating an InDesign template for students to edit.

Gutenberg Book Design This project uses a word processing application and Adobe InDesign to design a full-length book with text from Project Gutenberg. With this project, students can design Melville’s Moby Dick or Twain’s Huckleberry Finn.This project works well when students understand the basics of good typography and are familiar with Adobe InDesign.
